Welcome to SHYUJI, an online store where keepsakes, ready-to-give sets, and gift presentation come together for the people you are shopping for.
These Terms of Service set out the rules that govern your access to and use of https://shyuji.com and any purchase made through the website. Please review them carefully before using our services or placing an order.
By visiting our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Nothing in these Terms limits or overrides any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
1. About These Terms
These Terms apply to visits, purchases, accounts, communications, and other interactions with our website. Our Shipping Policy, Returns and Cancellation Policy, Refund Policy, Payment Policy, Privacy Policy, Your Privacy Choices page, FAQ, and other applicable policies form part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or use the website with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
You may not use the website:
for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes;
to violate another person’s rights;

3. Our Products
SHYUJI offers a changing selection of gift products, which may include couple keepsakes and romantic gifting pieces, friendship gifts and playful items, parent and sibling gifts and family mementos, professional gifting and thank-you tokens, ready-to-give sets, gift boxes, small keepsakes and collectibles, and home and desk accents, together with seasonal ranges.
Available products, designs, materials, colours, dimensions, package contents, and options may change according to inventory, season, customer interest, and supplier availability.
Some products may be personalised, engraved, customised, or made to order where expressly stated on the applicable product page. This does not mean that every SHYUJI product is made to order.
Where applicable:
colours may appear slightly different because of photography, lighting, or screen settings;
small differences in texture, finish, or dimensions may occur;
measurements may be subject to reasonable production tolerances; and
items in the same order may be shipped separately.
Please review the product description, dimensions, materials, package contents, available options, and any care or usage instructions before placing an order.
4. Product Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, images, prices, dimensions, materials, and availability accurately.
However, product availability is not guaranteed. We may update, limit, suspend, or discontinue a product when reasonably necessary.
Props, styling items, or additional pieces shown in product photographs are included only when specifically identified as part of the product.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we may contact you and offer an available alternative or cancel the affected item and issue an applicable refund.
5. Prices and Payment
Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in U.S. dollars.
Applicable shipping charges, taxes, and other amounts will be displayed during checkout where available. Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage charges imposed after shipment may not be included at checkout.
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We generally do not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, delivery, and contact information.
6. Order Submission and Acceptance
Submitting an order does not automatically mean that we have accepted it. An order is accepted when we confirm acceptance or begin fulfilment, subject to applicable law.
We may reasonably reject, limit, or cancel an order because of:
product unavailability;
pricing, description, or inventory errors;
payment or authorisation problems;
suspected fraud or unauthorised activity;
delivery restrictions;
duplicate or unusually large orders;
suspected unauthorised resale; or
other legitimate legal or operational reasons.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.
7. Order Changes and Cancellations
To request an order change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible at service@shyuji.com. Please include your order number and clearly describe the requested change.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. However, once an order has entered processing, personalisation, or shipment, we cannot guarantee that it can be changed or cancelled.
Personalised, engraved, customised, or made-to-order products may enter preparation or production shortly after confirmation. Please review product selections, quantities, personalisation details, message card wording, billing information, and delivery information before submitting an order.
8. Shipping and Delivery
SHYUJI currently ships to:
United States
Canada
Mexico
Most in-stock orders are processed within 2–7 business days. Processing time and transit time are separate.
Estimated transit times are:
United States: 7–20 business days;
Canada: 10–30 business days; and
Mexico: 20–30 business days.
Including standard processing time, approximate total delivery periods are:
United States: 9–27 business days;
Canada: 12–37 business days; and
Mexico: 22–37 business days.
Orders of US$50 or more qualify for free standard shipping. Below that threshold, standard shipping charges are US$7.00 for the United States, US$8.00 for Canada, and US$12.00 for Mexico.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs clearance, severe weather, public holidays, carrier disruption, high shipping volumes, incorrect addresses, and other circumstances may cause delays.
Additional shipping conditions, rates, tracking procedures, customs information, and rules concerning refused or undeliverable parcels are provided in our Shipping Policy.
9. Returns, Exchanges, Refunds, and Product Issues
Eligible products may be returned by requesting authorisation within 30 days after delivery, subject to our Returns and Cancellation Policy and our Refund Policy.
For a change-of-heart return, a product must generally be unused, unaltered, and returned with its original packaging, all components, accessories, gift box, presentation materials, and message card where applicable, together with proof of purchase where reasonably possible.
Personalised or engraved items are generally not eligible for a change-of-heart return. This restriction does not apply when a product arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly produced, incomplete, or materially different from the confirmed order.
SHYUJI does not impose a restocking charge.
For an approved change-of-heart return, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are not refundable unless applicable law requires otherwise.
If a product arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from the confirmed order, contact us promptly and provide your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs or videos.
After review, we will provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and availability, this may include:
sending a missing piece;
providing a replacement;
arranging an exchange; or
issuing a refund for the affected product.
If the issue is confirmed to have resulted from our error or our fulfilment partner’s error, we will cover authorised replacement or return shipping costs.
Do not return a product without prior authorisation. The appropriate return location may vary depending on the product, order, and customer location. If a return request is approved, we will provide the applicable return address and instructions by email. Our registered business address is not the default product return address.
10. Customer Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or activity.
We may reasonably restrict or suspend an account to prevent fraud, security threats, misuse, or violations of these Terms.

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its text, product descriptions, photographs, graphics, logos, designs, artwork, videos, software, and page layouts are owned by or licensed to us.
You may access and use website content only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial shopping purposes.
Without prior written permission, you may not:

distribute, sell, or commercially exploit website content;
scrape or systematically collect website information;
create derivative works from protected content; or

By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, and adapt it as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and promote SHYUJI. You retain ownership of your original content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Please avoid including another person’s private information, such as a recipient’s address or a personal message, in a public review or photograph.
